Clinical Dietetic Technicians (CDTs) in Bay Pines, Florida at Posterity Group LLC

Posterity Group LLC is a veteran owned, service-disabled small business, headquartered in Rockville, MD, that specializes in federal government contracting and staffing. We are tasked with staffing The Bay Pines VAMC with Clinical Dietetic Technicians (CDTs). The Dietetic Technicians are expected to perform the following:

• Provides professional and courteous customer service via telephone, email, and in-person
• Prints, prepares, and reviews meal tickets for assigned area(s) via Computrition and/or Vista
• Correctly interprets diet activity and patient information to ensure meal trays contain food items adhering to patient requests and preferences, and current therapeutic diet order
• Conducts bedside and in-person ordering as assigned
• Manages patient Room Service Meal orders by phone, entering into the Room Service Connect (RMS) software system within their diet parameters
• Monitors Admissions, Discharges, Transfers (ADT), and Diet Changes, adjusting and processing in Computrition and Vista as appropriate
• Retrieves computerized information/printouts to assist with tray and/or nourishment assembly such as standing orders, nourishment labels, tabulated recipe lists, and other simple information to assist in meal delivery
• Collects information from patients and/or caretakers to support Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (RDNs) including eating habits, allergies, diet, preferences, and updates Computrition
• Works collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members, including RDNs, Nursing staff, and Nutrition and Food Service (NFS) staff
• Checks trays for accuracy during meal service as assigned
• Conducts in-person patient satisfaction surveys
• Completes test trays including testing temperature and taste
• Complies with the FDA Food Code 2022, Supplement, VHA Directive 1439, and all local policies and procedures

• (a) Dietetic Technician Registered (DTR) credentials;
• or (b) A bachelor's degree or at least 24 semester hours in a nutrition-related field.
• DTR credentials are preferred but not required.
• at least 3 years of relevant experience
