At Nomni, we believe AI will fundamentally redefine how hospitality businesses operate, engage guests, and make decisions.
As the Head of AI you will lead Nomni's transformation into an AI-native company by building the foundational data, machine learning, and AI capabilities that power every product, customer interaction, operational workflow, and business decision. You will own the vision, architecture, and execution of the platforms that enable real-time intelligence, machine learning, recommendation engines, personalization, forecasting, agentic workflows, and generative AI experiences across the organization.
This is a highly strategic leadership role responsible for turning data into a competitive advantage and establishing AI as a core capability embedded throughout Nomni's products and internal operations. Working closely with Product, Engineering, Commercial, Operations, and Executive Leadership, you will define and execute the company's AI roadmap while building a world-class team across Data Engineering, Machine Learning, Analytics, and AI Platform Engineering.

Define and execute Nomni's company-wide AI and Data Platform strategy.Establish a multi-year vision for AI capabilities, intelligent automation, and data-driven decision-making.Identify and prioritize high-impact AI opportunities across products, customer experiences, operations, and internal functions.Drive adoption of AI-first product development and engineering practices across the organization.Partner with executive leadership to ensure AI initiatives align with business goals and growth objectives.Build and scale the infrastructure required to support machine learning, generative AI, LLM-powered applications, and autonomous agent systems.Design and operate modern data platforms supporting analytics, real-time intelligence, and AI workloads.Establish frameworks for model training, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, governance, and lifecycle management.Develop and maintain feature stores, vector databases, retrieval systems, model serving platforms, and AI orchestration frameworks.Build systems that enable intelligent automation and real-time decision-making at scale.Enable AI capabilities across Nomni products, including:Personalization and recommendation systemsCustomer intelligence and segmentationForecasting and predictive analyticsConversational AI and copilotsGenerative AI experiencesOperational automation and agentic workflowsPartner with Product teams to bring AI-powered features from concept to production.Establish experimentation frameworks to measure AI effectiveness, customer impact, and commercial outcomes.Define the architecture and operating model for Nomni's data ecosystem.Improve data accessibility, quality, observability, reliability, and discoverability across the organization.Establish enterprise-wide standards for data governance, privacy, security, and compliance.Develop responsible AI frameworks covering explainability, fairness, monitoring, and risk management.Ensure AI and data systems meet regulatory and industry best practices.Build, mentor, and scale high-performing teams across Data Engineering, Machine Learning, Analytics Engineering, and AI Platform functions.Foster a culture of technical excellence, innovation, ownership, and continuous learning.Establish clear career pathways, engineering standards, and operational excellence practices.Recruit and develop world-class AI and data talent globally.Serve as a thought leader and trusted advisor to senior leadership on AI strategy and emerging technologies.What Success Looks LikeWithin Your First 12 Months You Will:
Deliver and execute a company-wide AI and data platform strategy aligned with Nomni's growth objectives.Establish production-grade MLOps, LLMOps, and AI governance frameworks.Launch AI-powered product capabilities that deliver measurable customer and commercial impact.Improve data quality, accessibility, and reliability across the organization.Enable real-time intelligence and decision-making across key business functions.Build scalable foundations for recommendation systems, personalization, forecasting, and agentic workflows.Create a high-performing AI and Data Platform organization recognised for technical excellence and business impact.What We're Looking For
10+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Platform Engineering, Machine Learning Infrastructure, AI Systems, or related fields.Proven experience designing and operating large-scale distributed systems and modern data platforms.Experience building AI/ML platforms that support production machine learning and generative AI workloads.Track record of leading large cross-functional technical initiatives from strategy through execution.Experience scaling engineering teams within high-growth technology organizations.Demonstrated success delivering measurable business outcomes through data and AI.Machine Learning, Generative AI, LLMs, RAG architectures, recommendation systems, forecasting, and predictive analytics.AI platform design, model serving, LLMOps, MLOps, and AI observability.Data engineering and modern data architectures including lakehouse and warehouse platforms.Real-time streaming systems and event-driven architectures.Distributed systems, APIs, microservices, and cloud-native infrastructure.Data governance, metadata management, security, and platform reliability practices.Strategic thinker with exceptional execution capability.Strong commercial mindset with the ability to connect technology investments to business outcomes.Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.Ability to influence senior executives and drive organizational change.Passion for developing talent and building inclusive, high-performing teams.Comfortable operating in ambiguity while creating clarity and direction for others.Nice to Have
Experience within hospitality, loyalty, fintech, customer engagement, marketplace, or SaaS businesses.Experience deploying AI agents and autonomous workflow systems in production environments.Experience with large-scale recommendation, personalization, or conversational AI platforms.Advanced degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.Experience leading AI transformation initiatives at an organizational level.
