Job Description
The Quantcast People Operations team is looking for a motivated HR professional to support our teams across the employee lifecycle, including, new hire onboarding, responding to employee inquiries, managing the contingent worker process, updating employee data in our HRIS and other people operations projects as needed. You will support all teams across India and play an important role in our People & Places team. You will be a key member of the HR team and a trusted partner and subject matter expert to our employee population. You will be responsible for coordinating and hosting our new hire onboarding experience, responding to employee questions and owning essential HR operational functions. You will be an ambassador for Quantcast and an important point of contact for all our team members.
Support of people operations across the employee lifecycle - pre-onboarding, onboarding, HR processes, reporting line updates, and offboarding
Manage the full lifecycle for Full Time Employees —onboarding, extensions, off-boarding and troubleshooting
Act as the first point of contact for employee questions and queries related to HR, payroll, time off, benefits, etc.
Supporting India payroll processing in collaboration with Accounting, Benefits, and payroll vendor
Actioning standard reporting requests & data retrieval on India employee data (including Verification of Employment)
Working in partnership with our L&D team, coordinate details around Quantcast’s new hire company onboarding
Assist in completing All Hands company meeting slides (new hires, anniversaries, and promotions and any other assigned tasks)
Co-lead the new hire HR/Benefits orientation session on a bi-weekly basis
Owning upkeep of HR intranet pages and policy updates
Supporting Benefits team as needed
As a member of the HR Ops team, this individual can propose and suggest process improvement changes and support in a wide variety of HR projects & programs.
Maintaining confidential information in compliance with HR and company policies
University degree, preferably with a focus on HR, organizational design, psychology, or related experience
2-3 years of HR Operations experience
Experience with a HRIS system (Workday is a big plus)
Preferred to have knowledge on India Labour Laws
Solid understanding of Indian statutory components including PF (Provident Fund), PT (Professional Tax), and ESIC, with the ability to explain payslip breakdowns clearly to employees
Experience in assisting with the preparation and filing of monthly and annual statutory returns
High integrity and ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information
Very strong Microsoft skills (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Strong attention to detail, highly organized and process-driven
Excellent communicator and presenter
Flexible and adaptable, willing to dive in and help on a wide range of tasks
Strong interpersonal, cross-team collaboration, and teamwork skills
