Job Description
Recruiter - Manufacturing Ops
Yes! Do this: The Recruiter is responsible for full life-cycle recruitment of sourcing, recruiting, screening, interviewing, and ultimately using thoughtful business decision-making authority to recommend suitable applicants and candidates. The target is to fill varied positions, mostly at our St. Petersburg site manufacturing facility.
Working closely with hiring managers, the Recruiter is responsible to varied positions, with prime volume to hourly non-exempt production roles.
Key Responsibilities- Promote our Valpak Clipp employer brand with consistent messaging regarding our values, purpose, goals, and mission.
- Both proactively and reactively, source, screen and recruit to fill open positions with the best available talent.
- Develop and execute appropriate sourcing strategies to acquire qualified, diverse applicants using solid understanding of our tools, processes, protocols and knowledge.
- Establish and apply creative sourcing techniques for active, passive and pipeline candidates at all levels from entry through experienced.
- Function as the recruiting point of contact for managers and external candidates and applicants.
- Make thoughtful recommendations to the hiring manager on vetted candidates to be interviewed and evaluated for positions within the organization
- Ability to manage a workload of 20-30 requisitions at a time. Relevant volume recruiting experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with industrial manufacturing and/or frequent entry-level roles.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of directly relevant manufacturing recruiting experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge base and prior experience in full life-cycle recruitment process.
- Strong customer focus and effective use of consultative approach.
- Excellent social media knowledge and skills.
- Ability to quickly adapt to and embrace new technology and recruiting platforms.
- Robust knowledge of multiple state recruitment/hiring laws and practices.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve complex recruitment and hiring issues with minimum guidance.
- Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships including through video conference and telephone.
