Precision Healthcare Specialists is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our growing team. The CMA plays a vital role in providing exceptional patient care by supporting physicians and advanced practice providers with both clinical and administrative duties. • Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining and documenting vital signs, medical history, medications, allergies, and chief complaints.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure timely patient flow.
• Assist physicians and providers during examinations and minor procedures.
• Perform clinical procedures including injections, EKGs, venipuncture, specimen collection, wound care, dressing changes, and point-of-care testing as directed.
• Administer medications and immunizations as ordered by the provider and within scope of practice.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
• Review provider schedules and prepare patient charts before appointments.
• Coordinate referrals, diagnostic testing, and follow-up appointments.
• Educate patients on medications, treatment plans, procedures, and preventive health measures.
• Clean, disinfect, and stock examination rooms and clinical supplies.
• Maintain infection control standards and comply with OSHA, HIPAA, and company policies.
• Assist with prescription refill requests according to provider protocols.
• Respond to patient phone calls and portal messages in a timely and professional manner.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with all regulatory standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support clinic operations.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) certification.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Minimum of one (1) year of clinical medical assistant experience preferred.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

• Experience in a specialty medical practice.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

• Strong clinical and patient assessment skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with providers and staff.
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, infection control, and clinical safety standards.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Frequent use of hands for clinical procedures and computer work.
• Ability to assist patients with mobility when necessary.
