The Sales Manager, NAM Data Center Sales will drive new business growth by expanding adoption of advanced battery cabinet solutions within the North American data center market.
This role focuses on identifying and converting new customer opportunities across colocation, enterprise, hyperscale, and mission-critical infrastructure segments.
The position combines technical sales expertise, strategic prospecting, and relationship building with key industry stakeholders.
The successful candidate will own the full sales lifecycle, from pipeline creation and qualification through negotiation and closing.
Working closely with engineering and product teams, this role ensures solutions are effectively positioned for complex customer requirements.

The Sales Manager will be responsible for expanding market presence, developing strategic customer relationships, and achieving revenue growth targets through new account acquisition initiatives.
- Develop and execute a new business acquisition strategy targeting data center operators, developers, and mission-critical infrastructure customers across North America.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, industry events, referrals, and outbound sales activities.
- Own the complete sales cycle, including lead generation, qualification, technical discovery, solution positioning, proposal development, negotiations, and contract closing.
- Achieve and exceed individual sales quotas focused on new customer wins and revenue growth.
- Establish relationships with consulting engineers, UPS manufacturers, MEP/EPC firms, and other industry partners to influence product specifications and project opportunities.
- Collaborate with technical and product teams to deliver customer presentations, solution recommendations, and competitive positioning strategies.
- Represent the organization at industry conferences, customer meetings, site visits, and networking events.
- Maintain accurate CRM data, forecasts, account plans, and sales activity reporting.
- Partner with internal teams on OEM integrations, joint selling opportunities, and strategic account initiatives.
The ideal candidate is a technically skilled sales professional with experience selling complex solutions into data center and critical infrastructure markets, combined with strong business development capabilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of experience in data center power, UPS, battery systems, energy storage, or mission-critical infrastructure sales.
- Demonstrated success in a hunter-style sales role with a strong record of acquiring new customers and achieving sales targets.
- Strong technical understanding of UPS systems, battery technologies, electrical infrastructure, and data center design requirements.
- Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles from prospecting through close.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience working with colocation providers, enterprise data centers, consulting engineers, and MEP/EPC partners.
- Ability to independently manage a large territory, prioritize opportunities, and maintain disciplined pipeline management.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms and modern sales productivity tools.
- Preferred experience with battery cabinet solutions, advanced energy storage systems, UPS OEM ecosystems, and industry standards such as IEC, UL, and IEEE.
- Existing relationships within the North American data center ecosystem are highly valued.
- Willingness to travel domestically more than 50% of the time, with occasional international travel.
- Competitive annual salary range of approximately $120,000–$130,000 USD, depending on experience, skills, education, and location.
