This is a career paralegal role focused on litigation support, case management, and client service.
Primary Responsibilities – Family Law (Core Focus)
The qualified candidate will be responsible for managing an active family law caseload and supporting attorneys through all phases of litigation, including:
Drafting pleadings, motions, affidavits, financial affidavits, and discovery responses
Managing divorce, custody, and post-judgment matters from intake through resolution
Maintaining accurate calendaring of court deadlines and compliance requirements
Preparing trial notebooks, exhibits, and case materials for hearings and trials
Reviewing and organizing financial documentation in support and equitable distribution matters
Communicating professionally with clients in emotionally sensitive and high-conflict matters
Managing multiple active files with appropriate independence once trained
Secondary Responsibilities – Personal Injury Support (Cross-Training Provided)
For the right candidate, this role will also include support in personal injury matters, including:
Obtaining and organizing medical records and billing
Communicating with medical providers, insurance adjusters, and counsel
Assisting with drafting legal documents and correspondence
Tracking treatment timelines, case progress, and supporting settlement preparation
Training will be provided for candidates who are strong in family law but newer to personal injury workflows.
Qualifications
Experience in family law or litigation support required
Ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality
Comfort working with case management systems, e-filing platforms, and legal databases
Ability to work independently once trained and integrated into workflows
Preferred Experience

Exposure to personal injury case management (medical records, billing, demand prep, lien tracking)
Experience working in a high-volume litigation environment
