JANITOR in San Antonio, Texas at BAKERY EQUIPMENT & SVC CO

Location: BE&SCO Manufacturing – San Antonio, TX (On-Site)
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

BE&SCO Manufacturing is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Janitor to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. This position is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing our manufacturing facility, offices, restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas while supporting the overall appearance and safety of our property.

• Clean and disinfect offices, restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, scrub, and maintain floors throughout the facility.
• Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste properly.
• Restock restroom and cleaning supplies as needed.
• Clean windows, mirrors, countertops, and other surfaces.
• Perform deep cleaning tasks as assigned.
• Maintain outdoor areas by sweeping walkways and keeping entrances clean.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or needed repairs.
• Assist with facility setup for company events and special projects.
• Follow all safety procedures and properly handle cleaning chemicals.
• Maintain janitorial supply inventory and notify management when supplies are low.

• 1–2 years of janitorial, custodial, or facility maintenance experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning methods and chemical safety.
• Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment and basic hand tools.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Manufacturing or industrial cleaning experience is a plus.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the workday.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures.
