Position Summary
The Shipping Associate will be responsible for ensuring all orders are staged and ready for shipment. The ideal candidate will be organized and pay high attention to detail as it pertains to purchase orders and items that should be packaged and shipped together. The regular work shift is Sunday through Thursday, 10:45 pm to 7:15 am.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:

- Organize and stage product for proper shipment.
- Inspect materials for correct quantity and quality before shipping.
- Assist with loading orders onto delivery trucks in a timely manner, while still adhering to all safety protocols.
- Ensure all product orders are packaged and wrapped properly for safe and efficient transportation.
- Ensure product orders are ready for delivery according to delivery schedule.

Requirements:Qualifications and Requirements
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and work orders
- Ability to communicate verbally and written to other employees and supervisors
- Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous work experience in warehousing duties
- Experience operating a forklift
Work Environment and Physical Demands
The following environment/atmospheric working conditions are associated with the performance of this position.
- This position operates in a manufacturing shop environment. Exposure to noise, chemicals, and materials consistent with a manufacturing environment are constant. Employees must be able to work in both hot and cold temperatures of a warehouse and be able to lift up to 50lbs. Frequent standing, bending, and kneeling are required in order to successfully perform work duties.
