Nurse Staffing Coordinator
Full Time, 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday
$24-$26/hr
We are looking for a well rounded individual to manage the nursing schedule for our 3 units within our hospital including scheduling software and payroll software.

We are looking for a well rounded individual to manage the nursing schedule for our 3 units within our hospital including scheduling software and payroll software.
Essential Duties:
- Coordinates staffing/scheduling of personnel in collaboration with Unit Managers and Nurse Supervisors according to census variations, activity and budget - using Shift Wizard
- Initiates, completes and maintains staffing schedules within designated time frames
- Schedules Per Diem staff according to Per Diem Agreements including holiday and weekend commitments
- Ensures all timecards are accurate and include any sick or vacation time that needs to be added - and ensures all cards are approved timely
- Ensures all manual updates to timecards have been done timely and are consistent with schedules worked.
- Maintains and monitors a weekly list of vacant positions/shifts
- Demonstrates appropriate communication and interaction with patients, families, visitors and employees.
- Maintains strict confidentiality in all office, departmental, hospital, employee and patient related business
- Forms solid relationships with all nursing staff to ensure effective communication
- High School diploma or GED, some college a plus
- Working knowledge with hospital scheduling and payroll preferred
- Proficient with computer skills - experience with Shift Wizard a strong plus
- 3 years administrative experience in healthcare setting a plus
- Strong communication skills required
- Strong attention to detail a must
