Job Description

Description:

In this position, you will directly manage and oversee the day-to-day HVAC activities on our new construction residential projects. You will administer the company's standard operating procedures to ensure a fully functional HVAC system per code. Additionally, you will help ensure that quality and customer satisfaction are maintained throughout the construction process.

Other tasks assigned to you will include but are not limited to:

  • Manage quality and code compliance through job site team.
  • Perform daily verification of install per design with inspections, create punch lists.
  • Manage work scope, piece rate and hourly reporting.
  • Timely communication of change order needs to customer
  • Provide details for the production team to clarify job site needs and to document job site activities and communication.
  • Proactively improve crew efficiency through job readiness checks
  • Effectively communicate with builder and customer representatives; punctually attend meetings as required.
  • Set expectations for quality and productivity needs with crews.
  • Proactively ensure job site safety
Requirements:

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5 years or more of previous new construction residential and/or commercial construction experience is a must.
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience.
  • This position requires candidates have the ability and experience necessary to manage the HVAC scope on our projects from start to finish including laying out and overseeing all phases along with top-out and trim-out of the complete system.
  • Thorough knowledge of HVAC installation and the technical aspects of your trade, combined with a strong knowledge and ability to read and interpret construction plans.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to pass a drug test.
  • Bilingual is a plus.
