Position Title: Transportation Electrical Project Manager

Description:

We are seeking an experienced Transportation Electrical Project Manager, where you will lead and oversee innovative projects that drive the future of transportation infrastructure. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the successful planning, execution, and completion of electrical systems projects, enhancing the efficiency and safety of transportation networks.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee the planning, design, and implementation of electrical systems for transportation projects.
  • Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project specifications are met.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress and compliance with safety standards.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including schedules, reports, and contracts.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant electrical codes and standards within transportation projects.
  • Lead project meetings and provide updates to senior management and clients.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks to project outcomes and safety.
  • Facilitate communication between project teams and external partners.
  • Evaluate and approve project changes and updates, ensuring alignment with overall project goals.

Job Requirements

  • Electrical License (preferred but not required).
  • FDOT Electrical Experience
  • Airfield Lighting Experience
  • FDOT experience in lighting, signing, ITS Electrical and communication duct bank.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the transportation electrical engineering sector.
  • Proven track record of managing complex transportation electrical projects from inception to completion.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, standards, and regulations in transportation infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in project management software tools.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for projects.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Knowledge of safety and quality management systems and practices.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with relevant local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as required.

Salary range $125K - $150K (based on experience)
