Maintenance Engineering Manager – Cabinetworks Group, Mount Union, PA

Cabinetworks Group is hiring a Maintenance Engineering Manager to lead maintenance and engineering at our Mount Union cabinet manufacturing plant. This role owns equipment reliability, capital projects, the maintenance budget, and environmental and safety compliance, and leads the plant maintenance team and outside contractors.

What you will do

• Build and run reliability programs (RCM/TPM), preventive maintenance, and condition monitoring to improve uptime and reduce unplanned downtime.

• Lead root cause analysis on chronic equipment failures and put permanent fixes in place.

• Own capital projects start to finish: scope, equipment specifications, vendor selection, budget, installation, commissioning, and handoff to production.

• Manage the CMMS, PM compliance, and work order backlog.

• Build and manage the maintenance and utility budget.

• Own environmental and safety compliance processes and testing (OSHA, EPA, permits, LOTO, machine guarding, combustible dust).

• Supervise, coach, and develop the maintenance and technical team.

• Manage outside contractors and suppliers on site.

• Partner with operations leadership on planned downtime and production needs.

• Report weekly and monthly scorecard performance, including corrective action plans.

What you bring

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, maintenance, or engineering.

• Experience directly supervising a maintenance or technical team.

• Hands-on experience with a CMMS, AutoCAD, and MS Project.
