Industrial Cleaner

Hubot, Inc. a contract development and manufacturing company (CDMO) specializing in liquid and aerosol filling for personal care and pharmaceutical marketers, is seeking an experienced Industrial Cleaner for immediate addition to our fast growing team.

Job Description:

The Industrial Cleaner supports the Production Department by cleaning chemical spills along the production lines and is knowledgeable about reactions between chemicals. He/she communicates with the Production Lead knowing what products are being processed and is prepared for any spills. When not cleaning spills, the Industrial Cleaner is working in any department cleaning in non-production working areas and monitors the Parts Cleaning Room for any parts that need cleaning.

Responsibilities:

• Cleans and maintains all processing and non-processing production areas, including Industrial Parts, Line Conveyors & belts, Inside/Outside Industrial Machines, and floors and walls when needed.
• Cleans Cleanroom equipment and utensils.
• Records all operations in logbooks and controlled documents.
• Reports to team leader/supervisor any issues that might affect quality or production.
• Responds promptly to radio communication for production spills.
• Understands/learns correct chemical usage for spills and knows the dangers of mixing hazardous chemicals.
• Trash removal from building.
• Dust warehouse equipment.
• Notify Maintenance of any equipment failure causing Production Line spills
• Able to work flexible hours including holidays, weekends, overtime, and special assignments
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs., work overhead and stand for extended periods.

Education and/or Experience

• Education
  High School Diploma or GED required
  Experience working in environments involving:
  • Liquid and aerosol filling operations
  • Personal care or pharmaceutical manufacturing (a plus)
  • Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) or other regulated production environments is beneficial
