Job Description

Inspection of products to ensure compliance with all Hultafors Group North America, Inc. company standards. Rework of company product to make saleable as needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials and finished products using precision measuring instruments and vision systems.
  • Document inspection results, and identify and report non-conformances.
  • Rework non-conforming products to make saleable as required.
  • Responsible for initial pass/fail decisions on each part inspected.
  • Maintain work area in a clean, organized, and efficient manner consistent with 5S principles.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency with measurement tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 year of experience in quality inspection or manufacturing quality control.
  • Knowledge of hand tools and their use/operation.
  • Basic laptop computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Physical Requirements:

  • Speech, vision, smell, touch and hearing are all required to perform this job.
  • Simple grasping of up to 10 lbs. is frequent with occasional grasping, pushing, and pulling of weight up to 50lbs are required.
  • May require standing or sitting for extended periods while performing inspections.

Environment:

  • Exposure to low-level noise, bright lighting, moderate noise levels, temperature changes, and dust/dirt typical of a warehouse environment.
  • Requires attention to safety protocols and adherence to warehouse procedures to prevent accidents and ensure efficient operations.
