Classic LifeCare is currently seeking a Clinical Nursing Supervisor to join our Calgary branch.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering clinical supervision and working collaboratively with a dedicated team of professionals to support the delivery of pediatric home care services.

Key Responsibilities:

Engaging and empowering employees, pediatric clients and their families.

Providing orientation, training, hands-on care to our clients, and mentorship to employees (LPNs and HCAs).

The ideal candidate for the position should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• Current LPN or RN registration with the CLPNA/CRNA.
• Experience with pediatric care or willing to be trained.
• Valid First Aid and CPR certification & clear tuberculosis screening result.
• Criminal record check/police information check with a vulnerable sector clearance.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation within Calgary.
• Strong leadership skills, communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with healthcare professionals, clients’ family members, and relevant organizations to ensure clients’ best interests and goals are met.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
• Capability to manage a client case load, including scheduling visits and promptly responding to emails and phone calls.
• Adaptable personality with a people and community-focused mindset, prioritizing client-centered care and community collaboration.
• Willingness to contribute to the development of services based on unique strengths and interests, promoting continuous improvement in care delivery.
• Enjoyment of a fun and engaging working environment that fosters teamwork and professional growth.
