Job Description

SoftBank Robotics, the global leader in workforce automation, is seeking a HR Talent Management Specialist to join a fast-growing team that is shaping the future through artificial intelligence and robotics. The People Experience and Operations team at SoftBank Robotics manages the company's full-service HR and IT solutions for SoftBank Robotics America. The HR Talent Management Specialist reports to the VP of People Experience and Operations at SoftBank Robotics, North America, and will be entrepreneurial and comfortable navigating a rapidly evolving organization to manage the talent portfolio, from recruit to retire.

The ideal individual is a detail-oriented, data and results driven, customer service oriented, resilient, flexible, passionate, self-starter that will be working with a dynamic team in a fast-paced start-up-like environment handling several high visibility hires and HR systems. You will play a crucial role in crafting the growth of our workforce, ensuring that we attract, hire, and retain the best talent. You will be instrumental in developing recruiting strategies and building strong relationships with both candidates and hiring managers. Role Overview

  • Develop and implement plans for recruiting and retaining top talent in a timely and cost-effective manner
  • Ensure accurate and legally compliant data, payroll and 401k program management
  • Participate in the design and delivery of the talent assessment programs for our team (New Hire Mentor program, Annual Performance Review Program, Team Development Programs)
  • Collaborate with department managers to clearly identify job specifications, screen inbound candidates and proactively source candidates
  • Create job postings and manage applications across various platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed, and other recruiting websites
  • Screen resumes and applications, conduct initial phone or video interviews to assess applicant qualifications; Organize and coordinate interviews with hiring managers
  • Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through proactive market research and ongoing relationship management
  • Ensure candidates have an exemplary experience, consistent with the SBRA technology and innovation culture, throughout the recruitment process, regardless of the outcome
  • Maintain recruitment records and prepare recruitment reports as necessary
  • Onboarding and early stage experience management for our talent - you will own the candidate / new hire experience through the first 6 months with our team
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with Paylocity HR database, onboarding & applicant tracking system.
  • Experience with social media, especially LinkedIn, for recruiting.
  • Focus on continuous improvement and learning new recruiting techniques and talent assessment trends.
  • Technical background through STEM degree or hands-on experience.
  • AI ChatGPT user experience & IT curiosity.
  • Proven track record of successful recruitment in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of various selection processes (phone interviewing, reference check, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to design and implement recruiting and talent assessment strategies.
  • Ability to decompose complex projects and facilitate execution and decision making.
  • Ability to quickly learn existing processes and demonstrated ability to leverage data and analytics to improve processes.
  • Proactive opportunity identification and problem-solving skills to sell candidates and drive efficiency every day.
  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams and building processes.
  • Strong communication, influence, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong belief in keeping things simple and effective - guarding against over-engineering processes.
  • Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive results and reporting to senior leadership.
  • Ability to assess candidates quickly, summarize capabilities, and a strong sense for cultural fit.
  • Easy going with a business first orientation.
  • Passion for robotics, AI, and technology's potential to benefit people and solve business problems.
  • Keeping up-to-speed on the fast pace of growth in emerging trends related to HR, robotics, and AI.
