Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Fresca Mexican Foods (Fresca), an industry-leading manufacturer of quality tortillas, seeks an energetic Regional Sales Executive to deliver new business through prospecting throughout the region (Rockies West) and managing foodservice distributor relationships. This is a new position at Fresca and is considered a strategic role for our next phase of growth.

Fresca manufactures flour and corn tortillas in its advanced manufacturing facility in Caldwell, Idaho and markets its products throughout the US, Canada, Asia, and Australia. Fresca is a vibrant, stable, customer-centric organization with loyal foodservice customers that recognize Fresca's unique differentiation.

This position reports to the Chief Revenue Officer and will be located in Boise, ID, although there is flexibility to consider Denver or Salt Lake City as locations. This position requires 50% travel throughout the region. The region consists of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Utah, Colorado, Montana, and Wyoming

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive new business within the region by prospecting foodservice operator businesses including quick-service restaurant (QSR), fast casual and other segments within the foodservice channel
  • Lead end-to-end business development processes including prospecting, qualifying, planning and execution
  • Manage and lead foodservice distributor planning and programming, leveraging distributors to act as an extension of our brand, and driving new business in the region
  • Maximize profitability and reduce complexity using a disciplined approach to pricing, product management, and distributor management
  • Develop outstanding working relationships within Sales and Marketing team and throughout Fresca
  • Own key customer and distributor relationships with a deep understanding of their business, opportunities, and growth drivers

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Two years' foodservice industry sales experience required, including prospecting direct foodservice operators, and experience working with foodservice distributors

· Ability to travel to other markets in the region 50% of the time required

· Experience using various data sources and a demonstrated ability to use data as an influencing tool required

· Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools required

· Experience selling a value added (differentiated) product preferred

· Bachelor's degree preferred

COMPENSATION and BENEFITS:

Total compensation will be based on experience and will include base pay plus a performance-based bonus.
