Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY: The Infection Prevention Coordinator is responsible for the development, implementation, coordination, and evaluation of the infection prevention and control program. This role ensures compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements and promotes a safe, sanitary, and infection-free environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Public Health or Microbiology
  • 3 years of Healthcare Infection Prevention and Epidemiology experience or
  • 3 years of Clinical/Hospital experience
  • State of Alaska RN License
  • Certification in Infection Prevention & Control (CIC) within 2 years of hire
