Compensation
$20.00 - $35.00 per hour (based on experience, certifications, and skill level)
- Monthly proficiency bonus
- 3% pay increase per State Certification obtained.
- Tool reimbursement or tool allowance
- Boot allowance
- Diagnose and repair trailer mechanical, electrical, suspension, brake, and structural issues.
- Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs.
- Conduct welding, fabrication, and trailer body repairs.
- Repair or replace damaged trailer components
- Perform DOT inspections and safety checks.
- Test equipment after repairs to ensure proper operation
- Complete repair documentation accurately
- Maintain a safe, clean, and productive work environment
Required
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to pass a drug screen, physical, audiogram, and lift test
- Basic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting abilities
- Must provide own hand tools
- Strong attendance, work ethic, and time-management skills
- Ability to obtain a State Certification
- 2–5 years of semi-trailer, heavy-duty equipment, or diesel repair experience
- Welding and fabrication experience
- DOT inspection experience
- Positive attitude and team-oriented approach
