Prompt & Agentification Engineer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Prompt & Agentification Engineer based in Canada.

This internship offers an opportunity to explore the future of artificial intelligence by designing, testing, and improving AI-driven workflows and agent systems.
You will contribute to the development of advanced prompt strategies, automation processes, and AI model integrations in a collaborative technology environment.
The role provides hands-on experience working with large language models, data analysis, and intelligent automation solutions.
You will collaborate with technical teams to optimize AI performance and create reliable systems that support real-world applications.
This position is ideal for a graduate-level candidate passionate about AI innovation, engineering, and solving complex technical challenges.

Accountabilities:
  • Design, test, and refine prompts to improve the quality, accuracy, and effectiveness of AI model outputs.
  • Analyze prompt objectives, context, and performance to identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Evaluate AI-generated responses, identify patterns and trends, and provide insights to improve model behavior.
  • Develop and manage AI automation workflows using tools such as n8n, including workflow creation, orchestration, and optimization.
  • Integrate large language models and external AI services into automated workflows through APIs and connected platforms.
  • Manage data flows, transformations, and routing processes to improve AI inputs and outputs.
  • Test, debug, and enhance complex automation workflows to ensure reliability and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to support AI implementation strategies.
  • Identify and address ethical considerations related to AI usage, model outputs, and responsible technology development.
Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Master’s program in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related technical field. Master’s-level education is required.
  • Strong understanding of data concepts, analytical methods, and AI-related technologies.
  • Programming experience with languages such as Python, Java, R, or C++, with the ability to develop scripts, automate processes, and interact with AI models.
  • Familiarity with large language models and AI platforms, including tools such as ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, or similar technologies.
  • Ability to analyze data generated by AI models and translate findings into actionable improvements.
  • Experience or knowledge of workflow automation tools, particularly n8n, including AI orchestration and node-based workflow design.
  • Understanding of prompt engineering principles, dynamic inputs and outputs, and AI agent development concepts.
  • Knowledge of API integrations, external service connections, and data transformation processes.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Curiosity, adaptability, and enthusiasm for emerging AI technologies and innovation.
  • New graduates with relevant technical skills and strong motivation are encouraged to apply.
