The Business Systems Manager will serve as the key business-facing owner of Salesforce and manufacturing ERP platforms, bridging technology and business needs.
You will design, enhance, and optimize systems that empower sales, operations, finance, and leadership teams.
The position combines Salesforce administration, development, ERP support, integrations, and process improvement initiatives.
You will work closely with stakeholders to transform business requirements into scalable technology solutions.

The Business Systems Manager will oversee the administration, development, and optimization of Salesforce and ERP platforms while ensuring enterprise applications effectively support business objectives.
- Own Salesforce administration, configuration, customization, and ongoing development activities.
- Build and maintain Salesforce Flows, validation rules, Apex functionality, Lightning components, and other platform enhancements.
- Manage Salesforce security settings, roles, permissions, and data models to ensure effective and compliant system usage.
- Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions to support business decision-making.
- Lead Salesforce enhancements, testing, releases, documentation, and user adoption initiatives.
- Provide Salesforce training and support to users across sales, marketing, and operations teams.
- Support and enhance manufacturing ERP processes, workflows, and reporting capabilities.
- Manage integrations between Salesforce, ERP systems, and other enterprise applications.
- Collaborate with operations, finance, supply chain, and leadership teams to improve business processes.
- Coordinate with external vendors, implementation partners, and technology providers when needed.
- Translate business requirements into scalable system solutions and maintain an application roadmap aligned with company priorities.
- Identify automation opportunities and process improvements to increase efficiency across departments.
The ideal candidate combines strong Salesforce expertise with business systems experience and the ability to collaborate directly with business stakeholders.
- 5+ years of experience in business systems, enterprise applications, or Salesforce-focused roles.
- 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce administration and development experience.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce Flows, security models, reports, dashboards, and platform configuration.
- Working experience with Apex and Lightning components, including LWC or Aura.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with ERP systems and other business applications.
- Ability to gather requirements, manage priorities, and deliver solutions in collaboration with business teams.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively with leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience supporting manufacturing ERP systems such as proALPHA, SAP, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms is preferred.
- Salesforce certifications such as Administrator, Platform App Builder, or Platform Developer I are a plus.
- Background in manufacturing, distribution, industrial environments, CPQ, quoting systems, or sales operations tools is beneficial.
- Experience managing vendors or implementation partners is preferred.
