Pivotal Health, a nationally recognized leader in sleep medicine services, is seeking a Patient Service Representative to join our growing team in Baltimore, Maryland. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for patients and healthcare partners, helping ensure a seamless and positive experience from scheduling through care coordination.

🩺 What You'll DoAs a Patient Service Representative, you'll play a vital role in supporting patients and healthcare providers by:
✅ Answering a high volume of inbound calls professionally and compassionately
✅ Scheduling patient appointments and coordinating intake activities
✅ Collecting and verifying patient demographic and insurance information
✅ Accurately entering information into electronic medical record (EMR) systems
✅ Assisting patients with appointment, billing, and account-related inquiries
✅ Verifying insurance benefits and authorization requirements
✅ Communicating with physician offices, referral sources, and healthcare partners
✅ Documenting detailed patient information and messages
✅ Supporting additional administrative and operational functions as needed
🌟 What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications:
✔ High School Diploma or GED
✔ 2+ years of customer service, scheduling, call center, or administrative experience
✔ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
✔ Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
✔ High attention to detail and accuracy
✔ Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
✔ Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Preferred Qualifications:
⭐ Healthcare, medical office, patient access, or call center experience
⭐ Knowledge of medical terminology
⭐ Experience with EMR/EHR systems and insurance verification processes
⚠️ Attendance ExpectationsTo ensure success in this role, all new team members participate in a 90-day introductory period. Reliable attendance, punctuality, and consistent performance are essential during this time.
