Job Description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Marketing Operations & Program Manager based in the United States.
This role sits at the intersection of marketing operations, program management, and cross-functional execution.
You’ll bring structure and visibility to a high volume of campaigns, launches, events, and strategic initiatives.
The position combines hands-on ownership of marketing systems and processes with end-to-end project leadership.
You’ll create project plans, coordinate stakeholders, manage dependencies, and ensure critical initiatives stay on track.
You’ll also build scalable workflows, reporting, and operational infrastructure that help the marketing organization work more efficiently.
Working closely with senior marketing leaders and teams across the business, you’ll turn ambiguous ideas into measurable, executable plans.
This is an ideal opportunity for a systems-minded operator who thrives in a fast-moving B2B environment and enjoys making teams more effective.
- Build and maintain project plans for major cross-functional marketing initiatives, including product launches, campaigns, executive events, partner programs, and strategic brand initiatives.
- Establish clear milestones, owners, dependencies, and timelines, ensuring stakeholders understand responsibilities and deliverables.
- Run recurring cross-functional standups, working sessions, and check-ins to maintain alignment, remove blockers, and drive initiatives through completion.
- Maintain a reliable system of record providing visibility into active, upcoming, and at-risk marketing projects.
- Identify risks, bottlenecks, capacity constraints, and dependencies early, escalating or resolving issues before they impact deadlines.
- Partner with initiative owners across Brand, Content, Product Marketing, Revenue Marketing, and PR to define success criteria and establish measurement plans.
- Maintain a rolling portfolio view for senior marketing leadership, providing visibility into priorities, capacity, project health, and upcoming initiatives.
- Own and administer core marketing systems and tools, including project management platforms, marketing automation or CRM touchpoints, and reporting dashboards.
- Manage marketing budget tracking, vendor onboarding and administration, contracts, purchase orders, and related operational workflows.
- Design and maintain scalable processes for campaign intake, creative requests, approvals, content calendars, prioritization, and other recurring marketing activities.
- Build and maintain marketing performance and operational reporting for leadership and board-level updates.
- Serve as the process owner for how work enters the marketing organization and how competing requests are evaluated and prioritized.
- Collaborate with Brand, Creative, Content, Communications, Revenue Marketing, Events, and Product Marketing teams to understand upcoming needs and develop realistic execution plans.
- Partner with Sales, Product, and Executive teams on cross-functional initiatives such as major launches, executive events, and partner announcements.
- Work closely with Revenue Operations to stay aligned on technology, workflows, and shared business outcomes.
- Act as a trusted operational partner to senior marketing leadership, transforming early-stage or ambiguous ideas into structured, trackable programs.
- Establish repeatable processes that improve execution, accountability, and visibility across the marketing organization.
- 4–7 years of experience in marketing operations, marketing project management, marketing program management, or a combination of these disciplines, ideally within B2B SaaS or another fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated experience owning and administering project management platforms such as Monday.com, Notion, Asana, or comparable tools at a team or organization-wide level.
- Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives involving stakeholders across Brand, Content, Product Marketing, Revenue Marketing, Communications, and other functions.
- Experience building project plans from scratch for ambiguous initiatives and driving execution without direct authority over participating teams.
- Strong operational experience across budget tracking, vendor management, process design, workflow development, and reporting infrastructure.
- Systems-oriented mindset with the ability to understand how different marketing functions connect and create scalable processes rather than one-off solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and recommendations clearly to both individual contributors and executives.
- Excellent organizational and follow-through skills, with a natural ability to create structure and clarity in ambiguous environments.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and maintaining visibility across a broad portfolio of simultaneous initiatives.
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to define meaningful success criteria and performance measurements.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams while maintaining ownership and accountability for outcomes.
- PMP, Agile/Scrum, or similar project management certification is a plus.
- Experience supporting executive-level events or major public product, brand, or category launches is preferred.
- Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM platforms such as Marketo, HubSpot, or Salesforce from an operations or administration perspective is advantageous.
- Target annual salary of $127,500–$145,000 USD, with final compensation determined by experience, expertise, and other relevant factors.
- Equity participation, providing an opportunity to share in the organization’s growth and success.
- Flexible vacation policy designed to encourage employees to take meaningful time away from work.
- Paid sick and safe time, compassion leave, and voting leave.
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance, with the employer covering 90% of employee premiums and 50% of dependent premiums.
- Employer-paid life insurance and disability coverage.
- Remote work opportunity within the United States, with East Coast candidates preferred.
- Opportunity to work across multiple marketing disciplines and partner closely with senior leadership.
- High-impact role with significant ownership over marketing operations, processes, and strategic program execution.
- Collaborative and inclusive environment that values candor, curiosity, community, learning, and professional growth.
