Material Handler / Forklift Driver (Shipping & Receiving)

Reports To: Materials Manager

Currently hiring for a 1st shift, M-F, 7am - 3:30pm, Material Handler and Forklift driver. This position will be using a gas or electric sit-down forklift and will be loading/unloading trucks, as well as moving materials around the warehouse. This is a key position in our company and need someone who is fast paced and has a strong attention to detail.

Hourly Starting Rate: $18.00 - $20.00

Key Responsibilities:

• Unload materials and pallets from incoming vehicles, count and inspect the materials for accuracy and damage, transfer the materials to a bin location using a RF gun.
• Receive and ship materials using the Company's ERP system.
• Transport raw materials to production workstations based on our build schedule for the day using a Pick List
• Empty the cardboard dumpsters and trash in the plant
• Create shipments and load finished parts onto trucks and printing Bill of Lading and Packing List and labeling each pallet
• Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities
• Keep the shipping and receiving area clean and free of all debris

Prior forklift, material handling, computer, Microsoft Excel, and basic mathematics skills are required for this position. Candidates must be flexible to assist in all areas of our company. If you like to stay busy and moving around and do not want to just stand in one spot all day, then this is a job for you! Applicants need to possess a high level of attention to detail, high awareness levels, and training on the dangers of a forklift and how to drive them safely.
