Hiring: Mainframe Operator / IT Operations Analyst || Pontiac, MI || Onsite || Contract

We are looking for an experienced Mainframe Operator to join our IT Operations team. This is a 100% onsite position with no remote option.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor IBM Mainframe systems, infrastructure, and services.
• Handle Level 1 incidents, create and escalate tickets, and track issues to resolution.
• Use monitoring tools such as WhatsUp Gold, Pingdom, and PRTG.
• Monitor mainframe control consoles and system performance.
• Support basic JCL review/validation.
• Coordinate with IT teams, customers, and vendors during critical incidents.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of Microsoft Teams experience required.
• Hands-on experience with IBM Mainframe.
• Experience with WhatsUp Gold, Pingdom, and/or PRTG.
• Strong communication and incident management skills.
• Must be available for day, afternoon, midnight, weekend, and holiday shifts as required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Onsite position – no work from home.
