This role plays a key part in driving national mortgage business growth by supporting and expanding relationships with independent brokerage firms across Canada. You will act as a trusted advisor to brokers, combining sales expertise with deep mortgage product knowledge to influence origination volume and strengthen long-term partnerships. Operating in a fast-paced, client-facing environment, you will balance proactive business development with responsive support for broker inquiries. The role requires strong commercial acumen, relationship-building skills, and the ability to navigate complex financial products and policies. You will collaborate closely with internal credit, operations, and administrative teams to ensure seamless end-to-end mortgage processing. In this role, you will be responsible for driving mortgage sales growth and strengthening broker relationships through proactive outreach, expert advisory support, and disciplined sales execution. You will manage broker engagement activities, support credit and operational workflows, and ensure high-quality service delivery across all interactions. You will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with banking standards and policies.
- Manage and grow mortgage business volume from independent broker networks across Canada through proactive sales engagement and relationship management.
- Respond to broker inquiries with accurate, timely guidance on mortgage products, credit processes, and policy updates.
- Execute structured sales activities including outbound calls, pipeline management, forecasting, and documented sales tracking.
- Support end-to-end mortgage processing by coordinating with credit, operations, and administrative teams.
- Maintain strong compliance with internal policies, regulatory standards, and risk management frameworks.
- Deliver broker education through webinars, updates, and product or policy communications.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance service delivery, and strengthen broker experience.
- Develop and maintain detailed sales plans, performance reporting, and market insights to support business objectives.
This position requires strong mortgage industry knowledge, sales capability, and the ability to build trusted relationships with external partners. You should bring experience in financial services or mortgage brokerage environments, along with strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills. - Experience in mortgage lending, broker services, financial services, or related sales environments.
