Job Description

Inked Brands is seeking a proactive and people-focused HR Generalist to support the day-to-day operations of our Human Resources department. This role plays a key part in the employee experience by assisting with recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, performance management, and HR operations.

The HR Generalist partners with leaders across the organization to ensure HR processes are efficient, compliant, and aligned with company culture. The ideal candidate is highly organized, maintains confidentiality, enjoys building relationships, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

WHAT YOU'LL DOTalent Acquisition & Onboarding

· Coordinate the full-cycle recruiting process, including posting jobs, reviewing candidates, scheduling interviews, and communicating with applicants.

· Facilitate new hire onboarding, orientation, and employee paperwork.

· Ensure all pre-employment requirements, background checks, and onboarding documentation are completed accurately and on time.

· Partner with hiring managers to deliver an exceptional candidate experience.

Employee Relations & HR Support

· Serve as a resource for employees regarding HR policies, benefits, payroll, and general employment questions.

· Assist managers with employee relations matters, coaching conversations, and performance documentation.

· Maintain employee personnel files and HRIS records with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.

· Support employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and company events.

Benefits & Payroll

· Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding benefit programs, answering questions and partnering with the company's benefits brokers to facilitate enrollments, life event changes, and benefit-related issues.

· Coordinate annual open enrollment activities and communicate benefit offerings to employees.

· Process and audit payroll for all employees, ensuring accurate and timely payroll each pay period.

· Maintain payroll records, process employee status changes, and ensure accurate deductions, earnings, taxes, and timekeeping.

· Partner with Finance to reconcile payroll and ensure compliance with payroll policies and procedures.

· Assist with leave administration, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, and other leave programs.

Compliance & HR Operations

· Help ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.

· Maintain required employment records and HR documentation.

· Assist with policy updates, handbook revisions, and HR process improvements.

· Support performance review processes and employee development initiatives.

· Assist with HR reporting, audits, and special projects.

· Contribute to and support a positive, collaborative company culture.

· Continuously improve efficiency, communication, and work product.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TABLE

· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

· 2–5 years of Human Resources experience in a generalist or related HR role.

· Working knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and employee relations.

· Experience with recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, and HRIS systems.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.

· HRIS experience (Rippling preferred).

· Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

· Communication– Strong interpersonal and written communication skills. Builds trusted relationships while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

· Problem Solving– Demonstrates sound judgment and the ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion.

· Detail Orientation– Produces accurate work with exceptional attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

· SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.

· Experience supporting multi-state employers is preferred.

· Experience with payroll, benefits administration, and employee leave management.


The pay range for this role is:
50,000 - 60,000 USD per year(On-Site)
