The Pain Institute of Georgia is seeking a dependable, patient-focused Medical Receptionist / Front Desk Coordinator to support our Macon clinic during our transition to eClinicalWorks (ECW).
We are looking for candidates who are organized, compassionate, and experienced in a fast-paced medical environment. ECW experience is strongly preferred, and pain management experience is a plus.
This position involves a high volume of appointment scheduling and document scanning, so candidates should be comfortable managing multiple scheduling requests, maintaining accurate records, and handling a large volume of documents throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities- Greet and check in patients in a professional and welcoming manner
- Manage a high volume of appointment scheduling, including scheduling, rescheduling, and coordinating patient appointments
- Manage provider calendars using eClinicalWorks
- Scan, upload, and organize a high volume of patient documents into the appropriate electronic medical records
- Verify insurance, collect co-pays, and maintain accurate patient records
- Answer phones, route calls, and respond to patient inquiries
- Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth daily operations
- Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times

Requirements:Qualifications
- Prior medical front desk or medical receptionist experience required
- eClinicalWorks (ECW) experience strongly preferred
- Pain management or specialty clinic experience is a plus
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
- Must reside in Macon, GA or within 30 miles
- Dependable transportation required
- Ability to pass background check and verify positive prior employment
Compensation & Benefits
- $14–$18 per hour DOE
