Salary: Starting at $85,000 annually, negotiable based on experience and qualifications
Schedule: Flexible schedule required, including days, evenings, and weekends, based on operational and training needs

Join New England Tractor Trailer Training School (NETTTS) as our next Director of Safety & Training, where you’ll lead the charge in developing the next generation of professional CDL drivers. This senior-level role oversees all instructional operations, ensuring training excellence, safety, and compliance across our CDL programs.
As a key member of campus leadership, you’ll manage and mentor a team of instructors, uphold high standards of safety and education, and ensure our fleet and facilities meet all regulatory and operational requirements. Your leadership will directly impact student success, staff development, and overall program quality.
What You’ll DoLead, supervise, and mentor all CDL instructional staff.
Oversee all phases of CDL instruction — classroom, yard, and road.
Recruit, train, and evaluate instructors to ensure quality and compliance.
Develop and update curriculum to align with industry and regulatory standards.
Conduct student orientations and foster engagement through completion.
Coordinate CDL testing and scheduling with RMV/DMV agencies.
Ensure vehicle safety, fleet maintenance, and OSHA/DOT compliance.
Manage instructional budgets, payroll, and equipment procurement.
Promote a culture of safety, professionalism, and accountability across campus operations.
Valid CDL-A license and state certification/approval as a CDL instructor.
3+ years of CDL driving experience and 2+ years of management or supervisory experience.
Proven experience in driver training, fleet safety, or technical education.
Strong communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
Ability to meet DOT medical and physical requirements.
(Preferred) Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in education, transportation management, or a related field.
