The new Training Solutions initiative, allows TKH to scale digital skilling beyond our core programs, equipping schools, nonprofits, employers, and community partners with the tools to build digital fluency within their own communities. TKH Training Solutions delivers evidence-based tech training that meets learners where they are, building skills from digital basics to advanced, certification-aligned pathways. With 10+ years of experience delivering tech training, TKH provides the instructors, curriculum, and program structure partner organizations need to deliver high-quality training and meet learning goals.

Role Summary

The ideal Training Solutions Program Manager is someone who thrives at the intersection of operational excellence, strategic relationship building, and mission-driven social impact. You are a master project manager and a proactive problem solver who can seamlessly shift from high-level, cross-functional collaboration to the meticulous, end-to-end execution of training events and regional programs. You possess an entrepreneurial mindset, energized by the challenge of vetting fee-for-service opportunities, assessing strategic feasibility, and translating complex partnership goals into structured operational plans. As a natural bridge-builder, you communicate effectively across regional teams, Operations, and External Affairs to ensure client satisfaction and program fidelity. Ultimately, you are deeply committed to tech equity and TKH’s mission to uplift underserved communities, bringing the adaptability, organizational grit, and leadership required to scale digital fluency nationwide.

Key Areas of Responsibility

Training Solutions Scoping & Execution (50%)
Fee-for-Service, custom programs, and earned-revenue offerings

  • Conduct an initial instructional and curricular review of Training Solutions opportunities to assess alignment with TKH’s existing program models, identify customization needs, and support feasibility planning prior to program launch.
  • Partner with the Development team to vet opportunities and support proposals for Training Solutions and fee-for-service opportunities using TKH’s three-tiered model (Foundations, Exploration, Acceleration, Customization).
  • Assess new opportunities using strategic feasibility criteria (mission alignment, capacity, scalability, cost coverage, and operational impact).
  • Translate awarded Training Solutions opportunities into clear operational plans, including timelines, staffing models, delivery modality (virtual/in-person), and curriculum requirements.
  • Coordinate with Programs and Instructional teams to support custom curriculum packaging, drawing from TKH’s existing digital literacy, workforce readiness, and apprenticeship-aligned offerings.
  • Lead implementation through detailed project management of Training Solutions, serving as a point of contact across partners such as schools, nonprofits, workforce agencies, and institutional clients, ensuring high-quality delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Help document and refine repeatable Training Solutions models to support economies of scale and reduce unnecessary customization.
  • Coordinate with regional teams and Managing Directors to execute locally delivered Training Solutions projects, ensuring alignment with national standards, timelines, staffing models, budgets, and partner expectations.
  • Project manage and support regional Managing Directors in identifying, cultivating, and advancing Training Solutions and fee-for-service opportunities within their local markets, including partnerships with schools, workforce agencies, nonprofits, employers, and public sector stakeholders.
Business Development, and Development Team Collaboration (25%)

  • Identify and cultivate prospective Training Solutions opportunities with schools, nonprofits, workforce agencies, government partners, and corporate clients aligned with TKH’s mission and revenue goals.
  • Support proposal development, scope design, pricing strategy, and partner presentations in collaboration with Development, Finance, and Program teams.
  • Partner cross-functionally to validate program budgets, staffing assumptions, curriculum customization needs, and implementation timelines prior to proposal submission.
  • Support tracking and fulfillment of programmatic deliverables tied to grants and fee-for-service partnerships.
  • Coordinate logistics, volunteer engagement, employer participation, and partner experience for hackathons, showcases, Technical Empowerment Days, and other external-facing events.
  • Build systems and processes to capture program outcomes, learner stories, employer engagement, and partnership impact metrics for external communications and business development purposes.
  • Support in the tracking of programs team deliverables to the development team.
  • Coordinate the logistics and partner management of hackathons or volunteer engagements across all program types.
  • Build operational structures for capturing program successes for external partner sharing.
  • Coordinate alumni or current learner speakers for events or other development team needs.
Program Operations Support & Event Management (25%)
Support the execution of core programs and new programs in the portfolio.

  • Lead end-to-end event management for training solutions and programming, taking full ownership of the process from initial implementation and design through to flawless execution.
  • Provide comprehensive logistical support and operational management for all core events, ensuring seamless venue/platform coordination, resource allocation, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Project-manage the execution of TKH programs and training initiatives across regions, ensuring strict alignment with national timelines, deliverables, and program KPIs.
  • Support the launch and operationalization of new program iterations, training solutions, or portfolio pivots, including program redesigns, pilot testing, and launching grant-funded initiatives.
  • Partner with regional teams to build and manage comprehensive program calendars, implementation plans, staffing workflows, and rigorous event execution checklists.
  • Collaborate with Program Leads and the Operations team to monitor national and regional progress against milestones and KPIs, proactively identifying risks and troubleshooting operational barriers.
  • Facilitate program and event adaptations as needed, while maintaining strict fidelity to national standards and funder requirements.
Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) required.
  • 3–5 years of experience in project management, program operations, account management, or business development, ideally within workforce development, EdTech, or the non-profit sector.
  • Proven track record in event leadership: Demonstrated experience managing professional events, workshops, or training programs from conceptualization and logistics through to execution.
  • Internal Stakeholder Management: Proven track record of managing multiple initiatives and programs at different stages and leading multiple stakeholders through start to finish. Proven record of implementing new strategies and/or programs to increase revenue.
Technical Skills & Tools

  • Project Management Tools: Hands-on, proficient experience utilizing Monday.com or Asana to manage complex timelines, workflows, and cross-functional deliverables.
  • CRM Platform: Experience utilizing Salesforce (or a similar CRM) for tracking partnership pipelines, data management, and reporting program outcomes.
  • Data & Tool Literacy: High proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and virtual delivery platforms (Zoom) to manage hybrid or virtual training logistics.
Core Competencies & Preferences

  • Bilingual Proficiency: Professional fluency in Spanish is highly preferred, though not required.
  • Exceptional Communication: Strong presentation and writing skills, with the ability to translate technical or programmatic offerings into compelling partner proposals.
Location & Work Environment

  • Hybrid Schedule: Must have the ability to work onsite a minimum of 2 days per week at our Bronx, NY location for regional programmatic execution, team collaboration, and event management.
