Position Overview

SDS Arms is seeking a motivated and energetic Inside Sales Representative to support continued growth across our firearm and outdoor product lines. This role will focus on building relationships with new and existing dealers, supporting our independent sales rep group, and helping drive brand awareness and sales performance throughout the market.

The ideal candidate is someone passionate about the outdoor and firearms industry who is eager to grow their career in sales. Recent college graduates or candidates with minimal professional experience are encouraged to apply if they have strong communication skills, work ethic, and industry knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound cold calls to prospective and existing dealers and customers
  • Support and coordinate with the SDS Arms rep group to help drive sales activity and maintain account engagement
  • Assist in holding sales representatives accountable for follow-ups, programs, and brand initiatives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, distributors, and industry partners
  • Promote SDS Arms product lines, new product launches, promotions, and programs
  • Assist customers with product information, availability, and sales support needs
  • Track customer interactions and sales activity within company systems
  • Work closely with the Sales Director and sales team to identify growth opportunities
  • Attend trade shows, dealer events, and industry functions as needed
  • Travel approximately 25% for customer visits, events, and trade shows
Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
  • Recent college graduates encouraged to apply
  • Passion for the firearms, hunting, shooting sports, or outdoor industry strongly preferred
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Comfortable making outbound cold calls and developing new business relationships
  • Basic understanding of firearms and outdoor products preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced sales environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer systems
