Pantry Cook PM Only in Monroe, Louisiana at Bayou Desiard CC

Duties

- Assist in the preparation of meals by chopping vegetables, making salads, and assembling sandwiches

- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency in food preparation

- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of ingredients and cleaning of equipment

- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation and timely service

- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards to maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment

- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation

```Experience```

- Previous experience as a prep cook or in a similar role is preferred

- Knowledge of menu planning and basic cooking techniques

- Familiarity with dietary restrictions and ability to accommodate special dietary needs

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
