Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required; an advanced scientific or business degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of commercial experience within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proven experience engaging key opinion leaders, preferably within rare disease, neuromuscular disorders, or other specialty therapeutic areas.
  • Strong understanding of rare disease commercialization, including diagnosis pathways, referral networks, patient advocacy, and treatment landscapes.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex scientific and clinical information into clear, actionable commercial strategies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, relationship management, and influencing skills with executive-level presence.
  • Experience working effectively within highly matrixed, cross-functional organizations.
  • Strong project management, strategic thinking, and analytical capabilities with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Commitment to ethical business practices and compliance with industry regulations.
  • Ability to manage a large geographic territory with up to 80% domestic travel.
  • Must reside within the assigned Midwest territory and within reasonable driving distance of a major commercial airport.

  • Field-based remote working environment offering flexibility within the assigned territory.
  • Opportunity to play a strategic leadership role supporting innovative therapies in rare neuromuscular diseases.
  • High level of cross-functional collaboration with commercial and medical leadership teams.
  • Meaningful work contributing to improved outcomes for patients living with high unmet medical needs.
