Job Title: Digital Marketing and Content Specialist


Location: Mainly remote with occasional in-office days, 2360 Meadowpine Blvd., Unit 1, Mississauga, ON L5N 6S2 and campus visits for special events or projects


Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm


Start Date: July 2026


Compensation: $58,000 - $62,000 annually



The Opportunity:

The Digital Marketing and Content Specialist provides executional and strategic support to the Digital Engagement Manager, with a strong focus on content writing, marketing communications, and brand storytelling that strengthen brand visibility, audience engagement, and lead generation.


This role is centered on content writing and editing across the customer journey, including email marketing, landing pages, web copy, blog content, social and ad copy, press releases, newsletters, internal and external communications, SEO and GEO content optimization, and campaign messaging.


This position requires excellent English-language writing proficiency, strong editing and proofreading skills, analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt communications for different channels, audiences, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.


What you'll be doing:

  • Lead the writing, editing, and proofreading of marketing content, including email campaigns, landing page copy, web copy, blog posts and ad copy.
  • Create and optimize email marketing campaigns and lead nurturing flows, including segmentation, personalization, targeted content, testing, and performance tracking.
  • Update and administer email distribution tools (LeadSquared and MailChimp).
  • Draft and support press releases, announcements, corporate communications, and stakeholder messaging in alignment with brand voice.
  • Plan, launch, and optimize paid advertising campaigns across platforms including Meta, and LinkedIn Ads, ensuring campaign copy, creative, targeting, and performance align with awareness and conversion goals.
  • Support SEO and GEO initiatives by conducting keyword research, optimizing web and content assets, and identifying opportunities to improve organic visibility and search performance.
  • Conduct market and audience research to identify trends, competitive insights, industry opportunities, emerging digital marketing best practices, and student persona insights.
  • Support content planning and editorial calendars to ensure timely delivery of campaign, web, email, blog, social, and communications content.
  • Monitor website, content, email, and campaign performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, heatmaps and CRM reporting.
  • Support referral and alumni program marketing initiatives, including campaign coordination, content development and performance tracking.
  • Support special projects and evolving digital initiatives as directed by the Digital Engagement Manager.

What you bring to the position:

  • 3+ years of experience in content writing, with strong attention to detail, grammar, tone, audience relevance, and brand consistency.
  • Experience planning, executing, and optimizing paid media campaigns across Meta Ads, Google Ads, and LinkedIn Ads.
  • Experience building and analyzing email campaigns and automated nurture flows.
  • Strong understanding of SEO, GEO, keyword research, content optimization, and digital discoverability best practices.
  • Experience conducting market research, competitor analysis, audience research, or customer insights work.
  • Familiarity with persona development, customer journey mapping, lead nurturing, and conversion-focused marketing strategies.
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics, Search Console, email marketing platforms, and reporting tools.
  • Experience supporting referral programs and student recruitment campaigns is an asset.
  • Data-driven mindset with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
