Route Driver (CDL Class B) – Home Daily

The Role

You will operate a 28’ box truck or flat-bed truck, delivering goods to our customers along planned routes. This is a high-visibility role where safety and customer service are our top priorities.

Key Responsibilities

Safe Operations: Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections; drive responsibly in all weather conditions.Efficient Delivery: Use GPS to navigate optimized routes, ensuring on-time arrivals and accurate documentation via electronic logs.Load Management: Secure and tarp loads as needed to ensure cargo arrives in pristine condition; assist with loading and unloading.Customer Excellence: Provide professional, courteous service at every stop, acting as the face of the company.Vehicle Care: Maintain truck cleanliness and coordinate with supervisors for routine maintenance.

Requirements

License: Valid CDL Class A or Class B with appropriate endorsements.Experience: 2+ years of experience in a similar box truck or route delivery role preferred.Record: A clean driving record with no serious recent violations.Skills: Strong navigation skills and the physical stamina to load/unload cargo.Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
