What You’ll Do:
- Supervise and schedule maintenance staff including housekeepers, painters, groundskeepers, and service technicians
- Participate in on-call for after-hours emergencies.
- Manage inventory, purchasing, and job estimates
- Ensure make-ready units and work orders are completed in a timely manner
- Monitor and manage D&R, supplies, replacements, and capital expenses to budget
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and team members
- Step in to support staffing decisions and team supervision when needed
- Perform hands-on maintenance and repairs as required
What You’ll Bring:
- Class A multifamily apartment industry maintenance lead experience
- Experience as a working maintenance supervisor
- Customer focused mindset, professionalism, and great communication skills.
- HVAC Certification: Type II or EPA Universal
- Ability to be on-call 1-2 weekends per month
- Yardi experience including creating purchase orders is preferred.
- Experience managing an annual maintenance/capital budget is preferred.
- The ability to live on site is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of general maintenance, construction, and safety practices
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work in physically demanding environments
- Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions
- Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Personal cell phone required for on-call availability
Additional Details:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Work may be performed on rooftops and require use of ladders or lift devices
- Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions
