We are seeking a Janitor to join our Facilities team at our Lewiston, Maine location.

This role is responsible for performing daily, weekly, and monthly janitorial and custodial services throughout the building and surrounding property. The Janitor will clean production and common areas, restrooms, cafeterias, floors, and other assigned spaces while maintaining company safety and housekeeping standards.

• Sweep, vacuum, wash, and wax floors throughout assigned areas
• Empty trash containers and transport waste to designated collection points
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, sinks, drinking fountains, and other common areas
• Clean cafeteria equipment, furniture, windows, and assigned facility surfaces
• Replenish soap, paper towels, and other janitorial supplies
• Safely use and maintain janitorial carts, cleaning equipment, chemicals, and supplies
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area while following all company safety procedures
• Report safety hazards, accidents, equipment concerns, and supply needs to leadership
• Perform additional custodial and facilities duties as assigned

• Clean, sanitary, and well-maintained production and common areas
• Restrooms and supply stations consistently cleaned and stocked
• Safe handling and use of cleaning products and equipment
• Timely completion of daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules
• Strong attendance, reliability, and attention to detail
• Positive support of workplace safety and facility standards

• Previous janitorial, custodial, facilities, or industrial cleaning experience preferred
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and complete assigned tasks independently
• Basic math, computer, and documentation skills
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to safely work around chemicals, industrial equipment, dust, noise, and varying temperatures
• Ability to push and pull janitorial carts and lift or maneuver up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, twist, pull, and stoop throughout an eight-hour shift
• Must meet ITAR requirements
