Caring Hands Inc. is a licensed Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) provider dedicated to delivering compassionate, person-centered services to individuals with developmental disabilities. We are committed to promoting independence, dignity, and meaningful community engagement for those we serve.
We are seeking dependable and compassionate Personal Support Staff to provide non-medical support services in the home and community setting. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about helping others and making a positive impact in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities.
Compensation$17–$21/hour
Part-Time / Full-Time
Personal Support Staff provide direct, person-centered support to individuals in their homes and communities. Staff assist with daily living activities, companionship, community participation, and skill-building while ensuring a safe, respectful, and supportive environment.
Key Duties- Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Support community integration and skill-building activities
- Accompany individuals to appointments and community outings
- Document services and daily activities accurately and timely
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality
- Promote independence and person-centered care
- High school diploma or GED required
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
- Ability to pass required background checks
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, compassionate, and professional demeanor
- Experience working in DDA, healthcare, or human services preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
