Caring Hands Inc. is a licensed Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) provider dedicated to delivering compassionate, person-centered services to individuals with developmental disabilities. Our mission is to support individuals in living with dignity, independence, and meaningful community inclusion while also supporting families and caregivers.
We are seeking compassionate and dependable Respite Care Staff to provide temporary care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, while offering relief and support to primary caregivers. This position offers flexible scheduling and is ideal for individuals passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
Compensation$17–$21/hour
PRN / Part-Time / Flexible Schedule
Respite Care Staff provide temporary supervision and support services to individuals in home and community settings. Staff assist with daily living activities, ensure safety, encourage engagement, and provide compassionate support in a respectful and supportive environment.
Key Duties- Supervise and engage individuals in meaningful activities
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Support community participation and social interaction
- Document services and daily activities accurately and timely
- Report concerns, incidents, or changes in condition promptly
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to pass required background checks
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, compassionate, and professional demeanor
- Experience in DDA, healthcare, caregiving, or related field preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
