Position Summary
The Residential Director is responsible for the training, safety, and supervision of House Managers and individuals working in Staffed Residences. Support and assistance are provided based on individual needs to ensure consistent services across residential locations.
The Residential Director oversees the implementation of established programs to ensure consistency in training, reporting, and support across residential homes. This position is considered an Essential Worker Role, functions as a member of the Dreams With Wings team, and may provide supplementary services to any individual served by the organization.
Residential Directors are key members of the administrative team and work collaboratively to address the needs of the agency.
Key Responsibilities
*Model and promote the mission, vision, and core values of Dreams With Wings in all work activities.
* Promote opportunities that connect individuals supported by Dreams With Wings to their communities.
* Serve as the primary supervisor of assigned House Managers and Family Home Providers (FHPs).
* Provide guidance, oversight, and support to ensure safe, high-quality residential services.
* Maintain regular communication with House Managers and FHPs through in-person visits, phone calls, and staff meetings as needed.
* Collaborate with other Residential Directors and the Program Director to address operational needs and ensure consistency across programs.
* Perform other related duties as assigned.
* Work with House Managers to monitor compliance with agency standards and regulatory requirements.
* Review and monitor house budgets and individual budgets, assess needs, and provide support as necessary.
* Conduct in-person monthly house reviews and provide written findings to the House Manager or FHP and Program Director.
* Draft Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) when issues are identified during reviews. ? Monitor CAPs for residential citations and ensure compliance with corrective actions.
* Serve as a member of the admissions committee for new residential placements within assigned homes.
* Process payroll for houses under supervision.
* Collect monthly paperwork, review for accuracy, sign off on completion, and ensure documentation is placed in individual files by the 5th of each month.
* Review house schedules weekly to ensure proper staffing levels and monitor overtime.
* Ensure all staff working in the home have completed Individualized Needs Training (INT).
* Submit weekly billing for Staffed Residences and FHP homes through the agency billing system.
* Assist with staffing needs when necessary.
* Submit and review Health Risk Screening Tool (HRST) documentation. ? Review Medication Administration Records (MARs) for both FHP and Staffed Residences.
* Act as a liaison for individuals for whom Dreams With Wings serves as payee and ensure quarterly financial reports are completed and signed.
* Work collaboratively with the Process Control Manager, Training Director, and Program Director to maintain regulatory compliance and program quality. ? Maintain regular contact with House Managers and FHPs through meetings and ongoing communication.
* Act as a liaison between residential staff and agency leadership.
* Serve as backup support for other Residential Directors when necessary. ? Participate in agency meetings, training sessions, and administrative planning as required
Qualifications
* High school diploma required
* CPR/First Aid and TB testing required.
* College of Direct Support training.
Preferred Experience
* College degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field preferred.

Employment Status
* Hourly; Non-Exempt
Work Schedule
* Full-time; evening and weekend work as scheduled.
* This position is a Director Level position and requires 16 to 20 hours of work in the office.
