Supervisor in Bolivar, Missouri at Citizens Memorial

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is hiring a Patient Accounts Supervisor to join our Patient Accounts Department in Bolivar, Missouri — someone who leads with skill, compassion, and a drive to positively impact every patient and family we serve.

Position Details

• Status: Full Time

• Work Shift: Days

• Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30a.m - 4:30p.m

What Your Day Looks Like: Our team helps patients understand how their insurance works, their patient portion and the options available to help relieve the financial stress of the payment of that responsibility.

As a Supervisor you will be:

• Overseeing the daily operations and performance of the Financial Counseling team to ensure patients receive accurate financial guidance and assistance throughout the revenue cycle.

• Supervising staff, monitoring productivity and quality standards

• Providing training and coaching and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and payer requirements

• Working collaboratively with Patient Access, Case Management, Revenue Cycle, and clinical departments to support insurance verification, authorization processes, financial assistance programs, payment arrangements, and patient education regarding financial responsibilities

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor Degree preferred

Experience: 3 years experience in Patient Accounts

Skills: Time management, Communication, Calculation skills

Licensure/Certification:N/A

Physical: Ability to stand for 50% of the day and work on a computer for the remaining 50%
