Senior Director, Business Development Strategic Partner

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Director, Business Development Strategic Partner based in United States.

The Senior Director, Business Development Strategic Partner will lead a strategic sales organization focused on expanding healthcare technology and revenue cycle management solutions. You’ll own monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue performance while coaching a team to consistently exceed commercial targets. The role combines executive-level relationship building, consultative selling, channel development, and sales leadership in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. You’ll work with clearinghouses, RCM organizations, practice management vendors, and other strategic healthcare partners to identify and develop high-value opportunities. Success will require strong forecasting discipline, commercial judgment, and the ability to turn market insights into actionable growth strategies. You’ll also collaborate across departments and senior leadership to strengthen sales execution, customer relationships, and long-term business growth. This is a remote U.S.-based leadership opportunity with travel of up to 30%.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead the Strategic Partner sales team and develop initiatives that support monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue objectives and broader long-term growth goals.
  • Manage day-to-day activities of assigned team members, ensuring they have the tools, resources, processes, and market knowledge required to sell effectively.
  • Drive consistent sales activity and quota attainment across existing customers and new prospects, using a consultative and value-based approach.
  • Build and maintain relationships with executive-level buyers within healthcare, revenue cycle management, and related technology organizations.
  • Develop accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasts, proactively identifying deal risks and implementing mitigation strategies with leadership.
  • Establish and reinforce sales best practices across each stage of the sales cycle, coaching team members on effective consultative selling techniques and tools.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the strategic partner product and service portfolio, identifying high-value opportunities and ensuring the team focuses on activities with the strongest commercial potential.
  • Partner with leadership to evaluate individual and team performance, establish improvement plans, and implement targeted development initiatives.
  • Facilitate collaboration across sales, leadership, and other internal functions to support strategic business objectives and improve customer outcomes.
  • Drive consistent use and compliance of Salesforce and other CRM processes, including prospecting, opportunity management, customer communications, pipeline tracking, forecasting, and sales reporting.
  • Provide market feedback and identify new ideas, processes, and opportunities that can increase revenue and improve sales effectiveness.
  • Demonstrate ownership, accountability, and strong leadership while operating effectively in a dynamic, matrixed organization.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable company policies, confidentiality standards, and healthcare data and HIPAA requirements.
  • Support additional strategic or operational priorities as needed to contribute to overall business success.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in sales management, business, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 15+ years of relevant sales and/or channel development experience, including at least 8 years in sales leadership or management.
  • Demonstrated success selling SaaS or comparable subscription-based technology solutions and consistently achieving or exceeding revenue objectives.
  • Experience selling to executive-level decision-makers and key buyer personas within healthcare, particularly transactional revenue cycle management services.
  • Strong understanding of strategic selling methodologies, pipeline management, forecasting, and revenue growth practices.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, develop, and motivate sales professionals while establishing accountability for results.
  • Strong leadership capabilities and the ability to operate effectively within a matrixed, cross-functional environment.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced business environment.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms, as well as Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong commercial judgment, analytical thinking, and the ability to translate market opportunities into actionable sales strategies.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% as required.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States; immigration sponsorship is not available for this position.
Benefits:
  • Base salary range of $122,000–$165,000 USD.
