  • Produce technical documentation, schematics, and reports while maintaining compliance with engineering standards and project requirements.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in telecommunications engineering, preferably within transportation, infrastructure, or railway environments.
  • Strong expertise in network architecture design, switching and routing protocols, and wired/wireless communication systems.
  • Knowledge of telecommunications engineering principles, RF technologies, electromagnetic wave propagation, and communication system tolerances.
  • Experience with fiber optics, digital communications systems, servers, software applications, and radio communication hardware.
  • Familiarity with Passenger Information Systems and telecommunications systems used in the railway industry.
  • Working knowledge of testing and commissioning processes, including experience with oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and related equipment.
  • CCNP certification or equivalent networking expertise required.
  • Ability to interpret electrical, electronic, and mechanical schematics and technical drawings.
  • Experience with RAMS deliverables and cross-functional engineering coordination is considered an asset.
  • Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • English fluency required.
  • Eligibility to complete a criminal background check.
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary range between CAD $119,900 and CAD $179,800 annually.
  • Comprehensive health coverage including medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Long-term disability, life, and accident insurance coverage.
  • Retirement savings plan.
  • Paid vacation and time-off programs.
  • Flexible work-life initiatives, including flextime options.
  • Ongoing training, professional development, and career growth opportunities.
  • Inclusive and collaborative workplace culture focused on innovation and diversity.
