This role is focused on supporting technical application performance and customer success within the pulp and paper industry, acting as a key link between technology, commercial teams, and end users. You will work closely with clients to understand operational needs, identify opportunities for process improvement, and ensure the effective application of chemical and technological solutions. The position combines field service activities, technical advisory, and commercial support in a highly customer-facing environment. You will also contribute to business development by supporting prospecting efforts and participating in strategic discussions. This is a hands-on role where analytical thinking, technical expertise, and relationship-building are essential. You will be responsible for supporting customers through technical service activities, ensuring optimal product application and contributing to business growth through close collaboration with commercial and operational teams. Your main responsibilities include:
- Conducting routine service visits and technical testing to ensure correct application and performance of programs and solutions
- Identifying customer needs and translating them into opportunities for product application and process improvement
- Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions, technical results, and service activities
- Supporting business development efforts through prospecting and identification of new opportunities
- Presenting product capabilities, technologies, and application benefits to clients and internal teams
- Assisting commercial teams in meetings, training sessions, and strategic planning activities
- Supporting the development and execution of application strategies aligned with customer needs and industry requirements
You should have a strong technical foundation in chemical processes or related industrial applications, combined with excellent interpersonal and customer-facing skills. The role requires autonomy, organization, and the ability to work closely with both technical and commercial teams.
- Degree in Chemical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related fields
- Knowledge of pulp and paper industry processes and applications
- Ability to analyze data and translate insights into technical and operational improvements
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools
- Basic English proficiency (advanced English is a plus)
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills
- Proactive, organized, and disciplined professional profile with high ethical standards
- Experience with chemical application technologies is a strong advantage
- Postgraduate studies in process-related areas are considered a plus
