LVN Ambulatory in San Antonio, Texas at University Health System- San Antonio

POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs the nursing process in a safe therapeutic manner in a designated clinic setting under the supervision of the clinic's Director of Clinical Programs and Clinic Nurse Supervisor. Assumes the responsibilities of leadership in varied clinical settings to ensure efficient and appropriate administration of care. Supports and maintains University Health departmental policies and standards.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Recent experience in area of assignment or at least one year nursing experience is preferred. Must have current CPR certification. Must become ACLS certified and complete a CMA Nurse Triage Course or other UH approved Triage course within 90 days of hire.

LICENSURE
Current LVN licensure in the State of Texas is required. Must have a current AHA BLS Healthcare Provider or AHA BLS Instructor Provider card.
