The Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) plays a critical role in delivering comprehensive healthcare services to individuals and families across all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics. Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner specialization from an accredited program.
- Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice within the United States.
- Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner through a nationally recognized certifying body such as the AANP or ANCC.
- Demonstrated clinical experience in family practice or primary care settings.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in diverse healthcare environments including outpatient clinics, community health centers, or rural health settings.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms.
- Additional certifications in specialty areas such as pediatrics, geriatrics, or chronic disease management.

- Advanced training in behavioral health or mental health integration.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and obtain detailed patient histories to assess health status.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions in patients of all ages.
- Prescribe medications, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Provide patient education on disease prevention, health promotion, and management of chronic illnesses.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and stay current with evidence-based clinical practices.
