Are you a high-performance leader with a drive to master the phones, close appointments, and lead a team to success? John Lee Nissan in Panama City is seeking a Sales development Business Manager to lead and energize our in-house team of sales consultants.
The perfect candidate thrives in high-volume phone environments, knows how to talk to every kind of customer, and understands how proper follow-up turns opportunities into appointments.
What You’ll Be Responsible For:- Leading Sales consultants and a BDC representative with clarity, urgency, and accountability.
- Driving appointment set rates across sales through phone, text, and email follow-up.
- Training and coaching sales reps on phone handling, objection handling, and customer experience.
- Working closely with the sales managers to coordinate appointment handoffs and improve appointment show rates.
- Maintaining CRM accountability—ensuring follow-up tasks are completed.
- Proven Sales/BDC experience in the automotive industry.
- Exceptional phone presence
- Light-to-moderate negotiation skills
- CRM experience (VinSolutions or similar)
- Comfort with high outbound volume and a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- The ability to make 70-100 calls per day
- Strong leadership skills.
Serious candidates only
- At least 2 years of experience in an automotive sales or service industry preferred
- At least 2 years of managerial experience
- CRM and DMS knowledge and experience (VINSolutions/Reynolds/CDK Global)
- Ability to work with Microsoft Office products
- Superior communication/organizational skills
- High energy and enthusiastic personality
