Job Description
Pay Range: $16-$18 per hour
RIVERVIEW/BRANDON, FL
Full Time or Part-time available
Shifts Available:
- Monday to Friday, holidays, and some weekends.
- Shifts: 9 am - 5 pm
LARGO, FL
Part-time available (25 hrs per week)
Shifts Available:
- Monday to Friday, holidays, and some weekends.
- Shifts: 10 am - 3 pm
ORLANDO, FL
Part-time Shifts Available (20-25 hrs per week)

ACTIVITIES COORDINATOR
Requirements:
People person with a sociable, caring, outgoing, spirited and enthusiastic personality, to get elderly residents involved in daily activities.
Experience: Preferred
Description of Position:
Responsible for creating, planning and implementing life enrichment programs that encourage and stimulate
residents' physical, cognitive, social, and spiritual needs.
Responsibilities of the Activities Coordinator:
- Develop cognitive, physical, social, and spiritual programs that promote each resident's quality of life.
- Develops, leads, and facilitates recreational programs appropriate for one-on-one, as well as small and large groups, that result in residents' satisfaction.
- Plans, organizes, and implements residents' outings and special events.
- Develops, leads, and facilitates intergenerational programs.
- Creates and distributes a monthly Life Enrichment Calendar.
- Facilitates monthly Resident Council Meetings.
- Tastefully decorates the community for holidays and events.
- Plans and hosts community events for residents and families, in coordination with other departments.
- Orders life enrichment supplies within the department budget.
- Inspires and motivates staff through consistent leadership, supervision, and coaching.
- Promotes positive relationships with residents, staff, and visitors.
- Performs any other duties as requested, within the scope of responsibility and requirements of the job.
