Emergency Department Tech at Willis-Knighton Health System – Shreveport, Louisiana

MEDICAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Come work as an Emergency Department Technician in our fast-paced 23-bed unit. Duties include: stocking supplies and linen; cleaning stretchers, rooms and equipment; making up stretchers; performing EKG's; foley catheter placement; placing patients on the monitor; obtaining vital signs; transporting patients; splinting; attending the physician; suture set up; instrument cleaning; assisting with exams; performing drug screens; breath alcohol tests; glucose screening; and much more. A great attendance record and work ethic is a must. Must be able to come to work on time. The shift begins at 7:00 pm and ends at 7:00 am.
